Terms & Conditions
All tickets for Solstice Festival (the “Event”) are issued on behalf of Solstice Festival Ltd (the “Organiser”) and all ticket holders are subject to the terms and conditions indicated here and displayed at the venue, any of which may be changed at the Organiser’s discretion.
The use of a ticket signifies agreement to the following conditions:
You must produce a valid ticket to gain entry to the venue and upon request for inspection at any time during the Event. Upon entry to the Event, you may be given a wristband which you must wear and keep visible at all times inside the Event. Failure to produce your ticket when requested may result in you being ejected from the venue. Tickets for the Event are issued to the lead booker via email as e-tickets. They must be printed at home or displayed on a mobile device to gain entry.
There is a no re-admission policy after 9pm. Once you have left the venue, you will not be able to return. If ticket holders leave the Event, they will only be able to return before 9pm with a valid ticket and wristband.
You must be 16 years old or over to attend the event unless accompanied by an adult. Proof of age may be requested upon entry. Tickets should be retained at all times during the event .
The Organiser and/or venue(s) representatives reserve the right to refuse admission or eject a ticket holder for behaviour likely to cause damage, injury, nuisance or annoyance or for failure to comply with the reasonable requests of the management. In addition anyone found to be causing damage to the venue, the venue infrastructure, causing harm to any other person at the venue, behaving in an illegal, anti-social or aggressive manner, appearing to be under the influence of drugs or excessive alcohol or in breach of these conditions will be ejected and may be reported to the police.
The Organiser reserves the right to search all persons and personal property via bag searches upon entry. They will refuse admission to, or eject from the venue, any person who refuses to be searched by a steward, member of security or venue representative and a refund will not be provided.
Please note that whilst every effort is made to ensure that the full advertised bill performs retailers are in attendance and workshops and activities are available, this ticket is for a festival event and not a specific artist, band or other advertised feature.
Admission to this event is subject to the terms and conditions and any other entry requirements recommended or required by government on the date of the event. By purchasing a ticket you confirm you agree to this, in particular all safety measures the Organiser may implement.
The following articles are not permitted at any the Event: refreshments or refreshment containers beyond a water bottle, baby food and milk, animals other than assistance dogs, knives, fireworks, laser devices, smoke or gas canisters (including aerosols and nitrous oxide), megaphones, luggage or oversized bags, cushions, air-horns, sound systems, flares, cans, bottles or glass containers, weapons, dangerous or hazardous items, laser devices, glass vessels, poles, selfie-sticks, chairs, unauthorised items for trading (including any goods using unauthorised event logos or unofficial tabards), and any article that might be used as a weapon and/or compromise public safety.
No food or alcohol may be taken into the festival, other than food for babies and young children.
Alcohol will be on sale in the venue however if you look under 25 please do not be offended if you are asked for proof of age – the only forms of ID acceptable will be a valid photo driving licence or passport. Security patrols will also operate around the venue to prevent anybody under the age of 18 attempting to consume alcohol.
All drugs, including legal highs, are prohibited at Solstice Festival events. Ticket holders may be rejected/ejected from the Event and handed over to the police if found in possession and a refund will not be provided. Unauthorised professional photography or use of professional recording equipment and lenses are prohibited and will not be permitted in any venue or site related to the event.
The Organiser may be filming this event for live and recorded transmission on our website, social media,partner media channels and other third party platforms. Ticket holders give their express consent to the use of their actual or simulated likeness in connection with the production, exhibition, advertising or exploitation of any film, video and/or audio recording of this event and/or any element thereof in any/all media throughout the world in perpetuity. Ticket holders also agree to being filmed by police or security staff for the purposes of helping ensure the security of customers and preventing crime.
The Organiser shall not be liable for any loss, damage, cost or expense, except in the case of death or personal injury if due to any negligent act or omission on their part.
Ticket holders attending the event are responsible for their own valuables. Neither the Organiser nor the venue third parties including sponsors/partners or traders will be liable for any loss or damage to personal property brought to the venue.
Smoke effects, strobe lighting and lasers may be used at any time during the Event and their use will be highlighted within the venue via an announcement or signage. Please also be aware that prolonged exposure to loud noise may cause damage to your hearing.
The venue(s) is a “smoke-free” venue in all inside spaces. Anyone found to be smoking will be ejected with no re-entry. Electronic cigarettes must also not be used inside the venue.
If before or during the event you have a complaint in relation to the event (including without limitation in relation to your ability to view the event), please contact us or a steward promptly since complaints are very difficult to deal with after the event.
the Organiser reserves the right to cancel bookings which it reasonably suspects to have been made fraudulently.
Tickets purchased via the event booking website (solsticefestival.co.uk (the “Event Booker”) are subject to Event Booker’s purchasing policy. In the event of any inconsistency between the terms of Event Booker’s purchasing policy and these terms and conditions, these terms and conditions will prevail. The Organiser is not responsible for the content of third party websites.
You will be subject to the Event Booker’s privacy policy when providing your data in order to buy tickets. Solstice Festival is not responsible for the content of third party websites. Any personal data exchanged with the Organiser is held by Event Bookings as controller and processor.
The Event is an outdoor day festival and in the case of adverse weather or force majeure the Event may be postponed, rescheduled or cancelled. You will be notified by email in event of postponement, rescheduling or cancellation. Email will be sent to the email used at booking. The Organiser reserves the right to cancel this Event at any stage, if deemed necessary in their opinion, or if circumstances arise outside their control. They also reserve the right to alter or change the programme and line-up without prior notification. If the Event is postponed, the Organiser will honour the ticket for the re-scheduled event. It is the responsibility of the ticket holder to ascertain the date and time of any re-scheduled event. Ticket holders acknowledge this at the point of purchase.
Should the event be cancelled or any line-up changes, the Organiser will not be liable for the payment of any compensation or for any loss of money and/or expenses incurred, including but not limited to travel to the venue or accommodation. In the event of cancellation of the entire event only the face value of the ticket will be refunded via the ticket agent through whom the tickets were purchased.
Tickets will not be exchanged nor money refunded unless the Event is cancelled.
Tickets may not be sold, traded, or offered for sale; and may not be used as a prize or for any other promotional or trade purpose by any organisation except the Organiser. Sale or attempted sale is grounds for seizure or cancellation and those trying to use resold or cancelled tickets will be refused entry into the venue.
Your legal rights as a consumer are not affected by these terms and conditions.
